PV system at President's Park
Ascension Technology, working with the U.S. Department of Energy's national Renewable Energy Laboratory and Federal Energy Management Program, installed four grid-interconnected demonstration photovoltaic systems for the Pageant of Peace on the Ellipse, adjacent to the White House. Systems are configured with PV modules from ASE Americas, AstroPower, Siemens Solar Industries and Solarex. Ascension Technology, Advanced Energy Systems and Omnion Power Engineering provide the power electronics. Ascension Technology provided overall design services and mechanical and electrical balance-of-systems equipment.
