Green Bay East High School

Thanks to SolarWise, Green Bay East High School is one of three schools in Wisconsin chosen to be solar wise. Located on the school's new gymnasium roof, the 48 4' x 61/2' solar panels went into operation in November 1996. At peak capacity, the unit offers 12kW of electricity to the school, saving the school about $2,100 in energy costs per year. The solar system will provide additional curriculum and learning opportunities for the students.
